Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were beautifully proportioned with a view to the front of the hotel looking out on Broadway, making it a comfortable and reasonably quiet space, very well appointed for a NYC hotel. It was the perfect place to gather with family over Christmas. The service was upbeat and engaging, very helpful, and accommodating. The location was excellent, close to the event we attended and plenty of local supermarkets to explore UWS and close to Central Park. The dining experience offered refreshments before setting out for the day. Overall, a great experience with a few minor drawbacks.
Staying at this hotel was a real treat! The rooms were spacious for a NYC hotel, and the price was very convenient. The suite I stayed in was lovely, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchenette. The service was mostly wonderful and welcoming, although there were one or two staff members who let the others down. The location was wonderful, with plenty of good restaurants, stores, and attractions like Central Park and the Natural History Museum nearby. The dining options were great, and the traditional Greek products were a tasty highlight.
I had such a great stay at this hotel! The room was a nice perk for accommodating an unexpected guest, and the excellent location in the UWS by the 1, 2, 3 subway line, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and museums meant we had space to relax in after a hot day in the city. The room was a great size, and the added benefit of a kitchenette with a supermarket opposite was definitely an advantage.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was simple, clean, and quiet with a small kitchenette, making it convenient for longer stays. However, there was a minor issue with a 'tenant' who smoked cannabis nearby. The service was attentive and helpful, especially when I had an issue with my transfer. The location was perfect on the Upper West Side with easy access to the subway and nearby shops. The dining options were good, and the facilities met my needs effectively.
This hotel was a gem! The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, from a kitchenette to comfortable beds and chairs. The service was exceptional, with staff being so helpful and accommodating. The location was superb, close to key attractions and with easy access to public transportation. The dining options were convenient and delicious. Overall, a fantastic stay worth every penny.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had excellent amenities that allowed us to prepare meals and take care of our grandson. The service was efficient and friendly, with kind staff who went above and beyond. The location was superb, near attractions and with easy access to transportation. The dining experience was satisfying, and the facilities were great overall.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a kitchen and a large closet, exceeding my expectations for a NYC hotel. The service was attentive and helpful, although friendliness seemed more geared towards larger groups. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to transportation and dining options. Dining options were limited mostly to in-room supplies but served the basics. The facilities were well-equipped.
My stay at the hotel felt like a home away from home in NYC. The rooms were much more like an old efficiency apartment that hadn't been updated recently but were just right, spacious, and quiet, offering a unique experience not often found in the city. While the entrance lacked any garbage, which was a pleasant surprise, some modern updates could make it even better. The service, on the other hand, was consistently helpful, with everyone going out of their way to assist with directions and provide information on touring options, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Upon arrival, the hotel lobby was vibrant and welcoming. The rooms, albeit spacious, suffered from noisy water pipes. The staff was kind and courteous, but some service aspects felt lacking. The location was excellent for accessing Central Park and a variety of dining options. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
Just back from our stay in the Hotel Beacon. The hotel offers clean and tidy rooms which were excellent for our longer-term stay. The service provided by all staff members was very friendly and helpful, making it worth the money. The location, being excellent for the upper west side, allows easy access to Central Park, the subway, and various dining options. Despite no dining availability, having a kitchenette for breakfasts was convenient. The facilities overall were satisfying, offering a comfortable experience.
The hotel was in a fantastic location, close to major subway lines and cultural places. The rooms were huge and the staff extremely friendly. The dining options were convenient with a supermarket nearby, but could be more diverse. The proximity to public transportation was a great advantage, and the service was outstanding.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The room was large and comfortable, perfect for two people. The bed was so cozy, and the chairs were a great touch for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cleanliness and spaciousness were top-notch. However, having an apartment walker in the hallway next to our room was a bit unusual. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location was excellent, close to the subway and fantastic restaurants, making it ideal for our city adventures and very family-friendly. The dining options were convenient, especially for breakfast, with a supermarket across the road and a lovely restaurant downstairs. The facilities were great overall, though nothing particularly stood out. Overall, a fantastic experience with just a minor quirk in the hallway, but that didn't dampen my enjoyment at all.
